Macau is indeed a tourist city. Many times acquaintances will ask me for restaurant recommendations, and I will be happy to answer them for every Macau traveler! (Sadly some unconnected people didn’t get to taste them in Macau, share with those people too.)
LOJA DE CAFE NAM TI

This is really a restaurant made famous on-line. Although I don't think it's worth the queue, I still recommend the food here. If you want to experience an authentic Hong Kong-style cafe, this is undoubtedly your first choice.

Edificio kak Cheong, Macao
Locals also rave about the beef noodles. The beef here is super tender and is an authentic Macau delicacy. It often sells out before closing hours.

Dessert shop that does not offer dine-in service. Every late night, you can find Macau local younger squatting on the street holding small bowls and eating these sugary dessert. (This dessert doesn’t even have an accurate English translation.)
Xiao Sheng Xuan Japanese Ramen

My favorite ramen in Macau. There are two branches, the address shown above is one of them. But if you are going to Hong Kong by the way, I recommend you the Ichiran Ramen in Hong Kong.
Galinha Secreta
R. da Sé, Macao
I have never had such delicious fried chicken. Underneath the sweet and crispy skin lies tender chicken. A restaurant not to be missed by fried chicken lovers.
Cafe Nam Ping
85A, 85 R. de Cinco de Outubro, Macao
A time-honored breakfast shop hidden in an alley. The atmosphere of timelessness is here. You can see leisurely neighbors reading newspapers and eating here.

Very close to LOJA DE CAFE NAM TI. If you don’t want to queue, you can also consider this similar restaurant. The signature here is the extra-large French Toast. Even if two people eat one portion together, they may not be able to finish it because it is too large and filling.
